My name is Jess and I was born and raised here in Oregon. I knew at a young age that art was for me, but it wasn’t until after college that I realized what kind of artist I wanted to be. I completed my Bachelor of Arts and Design in 2017, and completed my Body Piercing Apprenticeship in 2021 and am a current member of The Association of Professional Piercers. I'm also a lifelong learner and have interests in science that I am pursuing as well.
I see body piercing as an art form, and I believe there is a very spiritual and freeing aspect to body piercing. I love being able to collaborate with you to bring your vision of yourself to life, and help you feel more at home in your skin. To me body piercing has always represented reclamation, bravery and transformation and I love being a part of the same journey for those I pierce.

Hi folks, it’s Sara! I’m from the Portland area and have live here my whole life. I fell in love with body modification and piercing as a teen and that love just keeps growing. My favorite part about piercings is the freedom it gives people. As much as I love all the sparkles, I believe piercings are a very sacred thing and being able to facilitate in a persons journey of self expression is such an honor. I strive to create a safe and comfortable space for everyone cause let’s face it, getting poked is always a little nerve wracking. I also believe that In many ways piercings are an amazing way to give attention to parts of yourself that so often get overlooked. Taking care of a new piercing is just taking care of yourself! It incorporates a daily routine of self care which I know for myself is something that gets swept under the rug. We all deserve to feel confident in our own skin, I’m just here to make that a little easier for you!

Bex is a graduate of the Portland Tooth Fairy’s training program and have been doing tooth gems for about 2 years now.
They are also a member of the APP and will be starting their piercing apprenticeship with Jess at the end of 2026. This has been a dream of theirs for 20+ years and are very excited to begin.
Previously Bex managed tattoo studios, did demolition and restaurant management. When they’re not slinging sparkles and gold they love working with their hands, doing art, and hanging out with their pitty Nova. Cash is always a killer tip but they also love pastries and thoughtful trinkets. ^-^

Andy is originally from the Portland area, and loves hockey, dinosaurs and dad jokes. He enjoys doing bright colors with fauna/flora, all nature things (+ more) and most often works in traditional and illustrative styles. Gina Miranda

Gina has been making art since they were a kid and has a degree in fine art. They have been tattooing professionally since April of 2023. Their current style is a mix of illustrative and cartoon/anime, and they're looking to eventually specialize in cartoon and anime tattoos.
So far their favorite part of tattooing has been working with clients to collaboratively create unique designs.
Ian McVay

Ian is from the Big Island of Hawaii and loves nerding out about horror movies and comic books, building Gundam models and hanging with his cat Aleister. He is the business owner of Sanctuary and has been tattooing since 2009. Ian can do a wide variety of tattoo styles and is very comfortable working on cover-ups.
