IAN MCVAY (HE/HIM) - OWNER & TATTOO ARTIST

Tattooing since 2009. Creating art since 1982.  Grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. I enjoy tattooing many styles including traditional and black and grey and I love doing horror-themed tattoos, botanical pieces and fandom art. I am very much focused on creating unique custom tattoos for my clients and am always down to try new styles. 

Opening Sanctuary was not only the fulfillment of my dream to own my own shop, but I also wanted to help create a space where a diverse community of artists and clients could feel happy and comfortable.

In my spare time I watch horror movies, play video games, read comic books and build models.
